In memory of Ilana Yaron.

“Ilanot Shel Zahav” was founded under the inspiration of the late Ilana Yaron and Prof. Michael Yaron.

Ilana Yaron passed away at the age of 78.

Upon her retirement from work as a researcher in the medical field, she returned to her love of painting, with the encouragement of her husband, Prof. Michael Yaron.

Her paintings have appeared in exhibitions in Israel and around the world, solo and group exhibitions.

Ilanot Shel Zahav awards scholarships and prizes to artists over the age of 40 in order to
remind that painting and art are not a matter of age.

Ilana’s works are sold and all of the funds will be donated to the said purpose.
