Shiur Acher
Yaron-Eldar, Paller, Schwartz & Co is proud to volunteer at Shiur Acher, an NGO founded in 2002 with an end of closing the social divide in Israel through stronger public engagement in the educational system. By bringing together citizens with diversified occupations and pupils from weaker populations who have not had a chance to become acquainted with academics and professionals, we offer underprivileged youth with role models that differ from what they have grown up to know. In this way, they are exposed to the multiple faces of Israeli society as well as to interests that could open up new horizons and life possibilities for them.
Specifically, our firm has “adopted” one 5th grade from a school in Bney Brak. Our staff provides weekly lessons to the children on a range of legal topics that bear relevance to the children’s life.
In one of our highlight activities, YETAX attorneys took the children to a tour of the Tel Aviv Distract Court, where they met with a judge in his chambers.
